She was a graduate of Augusta High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Georgia. Cheryl was a passionate educator and spent over 40 years teaching at various schools in the Augusta area. She was known for her kind heart, patience, and dedication to her students.

In addition to her career as an educator, Cheryl was also involved in numerous community organizations. She was a member of the Augusta Women’s Club, the Rotary Club, and served on the board of several local charities. Cheryl was always willing to lend a helping hand and was a true pillar of the community.

Cheryl’s family was her pride and joy. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 48 years, John, and a loving mother to her two children, Michael and Sarah.
